Cancellations: Accepted up to two weeks prior to the date(s) reserved; deposit will be returned less a $15 administrative fee. After that, if cancelled rooms are rented to someone else, the deposit less a $15 administrative fee will be refunded.

Gift Certificates: Subject to the cancellation policies

Directions From I-80 or Hwy 1 from the north:

If you will be arriving in Iowa City via Interstate 80, take Exit #246, Hwy 1 (Mt. Vernon to the north, Iowa City to the south).

Go south on Hwy 1 (over the interstate toward Iowa City) staying in the left lane for 0.2 mi. On your right you'll see a health club, a Travel Lodge hotel w/ attached restaurant, Bob's Your Uncle, and a Sinclair gas station -- complete with the dinosaur. If you look left you'll see the ACT grounds...the woods south of ACT is da Woods.

The first stoplight is Scott Blvd. Stay in the left lane, and as you approach the light, get in the left lane of the two left-turn lanes. When you make that turn, the lane you're in will end, and you'll be forced to turn left onto our part of Dubuque Road. (Make sure you watch for those in the lane right of you...they sometimes cut that corner into your lane *mumblemumblemumble*)

Once you make that turn, take the first driveway on the left; it is marked with two mailboxes labeled 2030 and 2040. Do watch for critters crossing the lane...speed limit is 5-10 mph.

That lane is almost a quarter mile long. The first house, on your left, is da Woods 2030, aka da Red House. Parking is available to the right of the carport, or on the asphalt horseshoe drive across from the da Red House.

The house on the right is da Woods 2040, aka da Green House. Parking is available on the pad in front of the garage.

Directions From Iowa City or points south:
Take Hwy 1 north (which rambles through Iowa City by way of Riverside Drive, Burlington Street, North Governor Street and North Dodge Street) toward Interstate 80, past the North Dodge Hy-Vee grocery to the stoplight at the intersection of Dodge St. and Scott Blvd. Turn right on Scott Blvd, and get into the left-turn lane for the turn onto our part of Dubuque Road.

Once you make that turn, take the first driveway on the left; it is marked with two mailboxes labeled: 2030 and 2040. Do watch for critters crossing the lane...speed limit is 5-10 mph.
